28th December : The Hound Of The Baskervilles (Eng/1939/80mins) Dir. Sidney Lanfield. Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson investigate the legend of a supernatural hound, a beast that may be talking a young heir on the fog-shrouded moorland that make up his estate. Collab:
29th December : Sherlock Holmes And The Voice of Terror (Eng/1942/65mins) Dir. John Rawlins. England, at the start of World War II. Mysterious wireless broadcasts, apparently from Nazi Germany are heard over the BBC. They warn of acts of terror in England, just before they take place. Baffled, the Defence Committee call in Holmes.
30th December : Sherlock Holmes Faces Death (Eng/1943/68mins) Dir. Roy William Neill. During WWII several murders occur at a convalescent home where Dr. Watson has volunteered his services. He summons Holmes for help and the master detective proceeds to solve the crime from a long list of suspects including the owners of the home, the staff and the patients recovering there.
