Event Details : Cansupport presents An Evening of Sufi Music with Dhruv Sangari.
Ever since it started, CanSupport has been marking World Hospice & Palliative Care Day, a unified day of action for palliative care services such as ours, with an event. This year we missed the date – October 9, 2010 – thanks to the Commonwealth Games. We are now making up for it with a live musical concert you will enjoy.
We have invited the noted singer of Sufi kalam, Dhruv Sangari, to perform. Dhruv Sangari is a talented vocalist and has performed both classical and qawwali music since 1999. His repertoire includes Persian, Arabic, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu poetry.
For your information, CanSupport is a not-for-profit cancer charity that has since 1997 delivered palliative care, free of charge, to people battling with cancer in Delhi and its neighborhood. Our home care service is recognized world wide and has so far looked after more than four thousand patients and their families bringing much needed medical, nursing and emotional support to their doorsteps.
