Event Details : 'Berlin Calling' Electronic Music.
After a hugely successful stint at the Berlin Music Week this September, the representatives from India will bring the Berlin vibe to Delhi. The artists’ experiences in Germany involved an exploration of its vibrant club scene while simultaneously introducing German audiences to the evolving, multifaceted nature of electronic music in South Asia.
Amongst the artists who travelled to Berlin and Hamburg, DJ Gaurav Malaker and VJ Avinash Kumar (B.L.O.T), Sahej Bakshi (Dualist Enquiry) and Ma Faiza will share their experiences through an exciting evening of music and visuals.
Dualist Inquiry is the brainchild and solo project of Sahej Bakshi, a producer and guitarist with a musical upbringing in the Los Angeles electronic scene. The live set features 100% original and self-produced music.
Avinash Kumar, is a designer, visual artist, film maker and VJ, and is also one of the founding members of the design + research firms - Quicksand, and BOX.
Gaurav Malaker, is a DJ, percussionist & musician and has trained under PointBlank Studios, UK, A lawyer by education, he is the co founder of Qilla Records, one of the few electronic music record labels based in India.
Ma Faiza is known as the Mother of Electronica in India. She is an international DJ, Artist and Producer, and is shamelessly passionate about electronic music, its culture and lifestyle. She was recently voted India's Favourite No.1 Electronica DJ.
