Event Details : 'Oneness - At Home With Nature' an exhibition of paintings by Kiran Chopra.

A serene feminine face holds the sun in one hand and the moon in the other.
The beautiful woman smiles seductively and you see shades in her body bringing out shapes of a bull, a fish, a bird… her body a tree trunk.
The works plead the cause of nature whose sanctuaries are being destroyed around the world, whose ozone layer is being depleted,
whose animals and birds get extinct by the year,
whose humans destroy nature invoking its fury with catastrophes like the tsunami, the swine flu et al.
Peace requires that people and nature live in harmony, and that is the essence of national level award-winning veteran artist Kiran Chopra who brings to the metrop, her black and white works after two years.
This time out, just following her show in San Francisco , from 15th Nov to 21st Nov in All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society (AIFACS) New Delhi,
it is time to witness Oneness – At Home With Nature.
Juxtaposing images from nature, be it birds or animals and even the moon with the sun, Kiran Chopra carves her black works on a white canvas, giving it a third dimension. The basic thought is about living in dynamic harmony with nature, a process that allows one to find ancient and new age wisdom.
