“When you read a book, the story definitely happens inside your head. When you listen, it seems to happen in a little cloud all around it, like a fuzzy knit cap pulled down over your eyes”- Robin Solan
With that thought, Storytel warmly invites you to an afternoon amongst stories with a gathering of eminent voice artists, publications and writers. Also present would be Country Manager Yogesh Dashrath, the force behind Storytel India.
About Storytel : Storytel is a leading platform for subscription based audio-book application in Europe and has recently entered the Indian market. It allows users to listen/read unlimited audio-books of all kinds through an app installed on their mobile phone.
They are the first audio-books subscription service company with a strong focus on Indian languages (currently in Hindi and Marathi) besides English. Moreover, they are a continuously growing platform for established as well as upcoming writers to create original series in Indian languages that take listeners into a new and exciting world. Storytel has their own production studio and a pool of well-known voice/theatre/TV/movie artists in their panel and cover all genres, be it romance, thriller, spirituality, horror, drama, adventure, etc.
Storytel launched its service in 2005 and currently has more than 27 million listeners of its audiobooks. Storytel works with all types of smartphones and has an offline function that allows you to listen to audiobooks even when there is no Internet connection available. It will soon launch its service in the Arab Emirates, Iceland, Turkey, Bulgaria and Italy.
