With the city getting out of the winter doldrums, we have another reason to celebrate the coming of spring. House Concert Delhi is proud to present the Angad Katari Debut Album Launch ‘Lost’ for the Delhi audience. Performing all the songs from the debut album, the band will be live on February 2, 2018, at the famous Akshara Theatre. There will be a high tea before the show to which you are cordially invited.
The ‘Lost’ Concert’ will be first DIY concert to enable independent singer-songwriters for performing outside of mainstream live music venues for promoting original music. Indie singer-songwriter Amartya Ghosh will also performing in the same evening to enhance the music listening experience for the attendees. With Angad Katari and Amartya Ghosh’s dedication towards making memorable music and House Concert Delhi’s affinity towards making every concert enthralling, this association is as unforgettable as it can get.
Commenting on the album 'Lost’ Angad Katari, Lead Vocalist & Guitarist, said, “The songs in this album have been written during different phases of my life, during which I did not know what to do or where to go, including when my life came to a standstill. It doesn’t mean that all the songs on the album are sad, it’s a mix of both if and only if you pay attention to the lyrics. I try to keep my music as simple as possible.This album is a reflection of life, all the moments which feel good together be it happy or sad, should be put together.”
About Angad Katari : Angad Katari is a Delhi based indie singer/songwriter, who has just released his Debut Album Titled “LOST” and has released his single titled “I loved you” along with the video recently! Angad’s music has more of an acoustic feel to it, he prefers to keep the arrangement of his songs as simple and catchy as he can get them to be. His music/songs are a blend of indie-pop, country, rock, Folk rock, Alternative Rock and Blues.
Angad Katari writes and composes songs in both Hindi and English. Amongst his major influences are Damien Rice, Ben Howard, John Mayer, The Beatles, Hozier, Jeff Buckley, Jim Croce, The Eagles, etc

About House Concert Delhi: House Concert Delhi is a first-of-its-kind, artist-focused initiative in India which has been working on creating spaces for art within the hustle and bustle of the city. Each concert works towards bringing together music, arts and culture - which are unique to the city - in the intimacy of homes and unconventional private spaces. The movement is completely volunteer driven and strives to give a different flavour to each session derived from inputs provided by the community. The host, artists and the community together make each session happen. The concerts are funded by the audience through a pay-what-you-can model, with all contributions going directly to the artistes.
House Concert Delhi is an initiative that provides spaces, facilities and audiences for musicians and artistes - from theatre, poetry, art and film - to showcase original content and talent. The movement has actively cultivated an audience that is receptive to and actively seeking original content. Furthermore, each concert is an embodiment of 'DIY' in how it is put together.
We also have chapters in Mumbai and Bengaluru. Few of the artistes who have performed at the sessions: Tejas Menon, Tajdar Junaid, Menwhopause, Gowri, Vernon Noronha, Shantanu Pandit, among others.
