Event Description : MUSIC : Luiza & Pedro live.
Luiza Sales and Pedro Carneiro Silva are two Brazilian musicians brought together by music and love. Luiza & Pedro's music has already been to Europe, India and Brazil. They started performing together in Portugal and Spain between 2013 and 2014, playing Brazilian music and jazz. The new repertoire featuring their own compositions was developed in 2016 (with Luiza on vocals, guitar, viola and Pedro on piano). After teaching music at Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music, India, and performing in events like DIY Day, The Gig Week and Sofar Sounds New Delhi, they went back to Brazil.
Their first album, "Versos do Capitao" (The Capitan's Verses) was released in September 2017. In the same year, they worked on solo projects: Pedro released the album "Agua Verde" with his compositions for piano and clarinet as well as the YouTube project "Free Seat" (with 500.000 views on Facebook). Luiza released a YouTube series with female singer-songwriters, "Meninas do Brasil", featuring 24 Brazilian artists and also went to Germany to film a new series of videos, "Meninas de Berlin".
