About Goa Sunsplash :
Goa Sunsplash is an international reggae festival happening on 13th and 14th January 2018 at Nyex Beach Club, Anjuna. It is South Asia's largest celebration of reggae culture with 3 music spaces catering to all styles of reggae music from dub to dancehall.
For this Goa Sunsplash Pre Party at Raasta we are delighted to present Reggae Rajahs back in your city after a long break! They will be ably supported by local selectors Pagal Sound aka Joginder Luca Singh and Hemant Chotani. The event will also feature a dancehall showcase by Cornbread (Japan), one of the world's biggest reggae dancers!

Reggae Rajahs : Reggae Rajahs have opened for Snoop Dogg and Major Lazer and have also shared the stage with a number of established international artists. Formed in 2009, the group has dedicated itself to spreading the sounds of the Caribbean across India.They have toured across Europe, South America and South East Asia in recent years. They host an international reggae festival every year called Goa Reggae Sunsplash, and are also key part of the hand built 10,000 Lions Sound System, one of two Jamaican style speaker systems in India.
Hemant Chotani : "Hemant" is the Sub Heavy Drum & Bass artist from Delhi, who has been DJing for over 10 years now at various music scenes & major hot-spots in the city and around. He started with spinning rock/metal at the hottest joints in the city and now has been playing an aggressive dose of Drum & Bass. His Sets are unique mix of Deep to Jungle, keeping the audience connected with big riffs and epic breakdowns.
An active promoter of Indian bass heavy sounds like East Stepper, Midival Punditz, Karsh Kale, his sets are often filled with a soulful Indian touch to them. Having played with top underground artists like Calyx and Teebee at Bass Camp Festival, Ant TC1 at Outlook Festival Delhi Launch Party to play sets at regular bass heavy nights like Trippy Tuesdays, DelhiUnderfound, Unconventional Jam and Habit, his performances have been well received in the genre.
