Powerful, dynamic and visually stunning, Wayne McGregor’s FAR presents the best of contemporary dance. From the prolific choreographer of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2004), FAR is an enthralling dance performance that captivates the hearts and minds of the audience.
FAR is a mesmerising showcase of dance movements that creates fascinating structures of light and shadow with the aid of 2000 LED lights. Fabulous music and gripping design add to the brilliance of the show. It is certainly once in a lifetime experience and a must watch.

About Company Wayne McGregor : Wayne McGregor CBE is a multi-award-winning British choreographer and director. He is Artistic Director of Studio Wayne McGregor, the creative engine of his life-long choreographic enquiry. A prolific dance maker, Wayne McGregor has delivered world premieres for international companies including Paris Opera Ballet, New York City Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet and Australian Ballet, and choreographed movies (Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) and music videos (Radioheads Lotus Flower).
McGregor's work has earned him four Critics' Circle National Dance Awards, two Time Out Awards, two South Bank Show Awards, three Olivier Awards, a prix Benois de la Danse and two Golden Mask Awards. In 2011 McGregor was awarded a CBE for Services to Dance.
FAR takes place as a part of UK/India 2017, a year-long celebration of the long-standing relationship between India and the UK, which will see a vast programme of cultural exchange and activity take place in cities across both countries. Working with a huge number of partners and institutions, the British Council is developing a programme of cultural activity which will connect and inspire people in both countries; and strengthen and celebrate the UK and India's cultural ties.
