Event Description : THEATRE : Sansaptak presents "Bitongsho Bedona" Bengali/English Play. 

Synopsis : In this metaphysical play, a retired couple, Anuroop and Falguni Sen, try to spend the longest day of the year, 22nd June. Through master narratives, both try to fiddle with their existentialist problems, Anuroop who is an escapist, while Falguni who likes to nurtures and preserve. However, both are guilty of crimes that they had committed when they were young. This is highlighted more due to the occurrence of a mute man selling incense sticks near their home. Whether the confrontation actually  occurs, or only in the subconscious mind of Anuroop trying to confess to his sins, is what the play is about.
