Event Description : Taal Inc. introduces you to a rhythmic world of West-African percussion taught by their very inspired, talented and fun instructors who are being mentored by Varun Venkit, the Founder/Director of Taal Inc. He is also India's first and currently the only professor of the Djembe certified by Tam Tam Mandingue International (a school set up by Grandmaster djembefola Mamady Keïta) Pune. The Djembe is a universal symbol of joy and is widespread in West - Africa and now, the world. Music, song and dance is synonymous to life and every rhythm played has a history and traditional significance in society.

About Varun Venkit-
Varun is a published clinical psychologist and author. He is a certified drum circle facilitator, masters NLP practitioner, percussionist and trainer. He is the founder / director of Taal Inc.; an organization that positively influences health and well-being through rhythm, music and the arts.

His journey with rhythm has seen him through drumming with Agnee, Sivamani, Taufiq and Fazal Qureshi and many more greats in the percussion world. Apart from this he has facilitated a drumming event for the first lady Michelle Obama in 2010.
