Event Description : EXHIBITION ‘Maya’ A Solo show of Calligraphy by Rajeev Kumar, Contemporary Calligraphy Artist, TEDx Speaker, Engineer

The origin of word ‘Maya’is derived from Sanskrit language- 'ma' ("not") and 'ya'("that"). So ‘Maya’ means "that is not" but which appears to be real----the "illusion". 

Through this exhibition Rajeev creates a fusion of Indian culture, Heritage and Art. In this show, Calligraphy is presented as a strong and aesthetic medium of communication where thoughts find freedom through forms. Each painting brings out myriad expressions of India’s heritage,traditions and presents a narrative piece of history for you.
