PLEASE NOTE:
1) Delhi is reeling under plastic waste, let’s not pollute our city any further, so request you to carry your own bottle of water.
2) It is mosquito time in Delhi, so please carry your appropriate repellent creams/bug sprays.

3) We will have a walk of around 1.5kms, So wear comfortable walking shoes. Not that we will stop any flip-flop wearers from joining us!

The soil is still moist from the rains…and open wild spaces along the River Yamuna are sprouting the white-colored ‘Kaash Phool’ (Kans Flower Grass) heralding the symbolic onset of Autumn or as Bengalis say “Shorot Ritu,” which of course will bring with it, Devi Maa Durga!!!
Away from the hustle-bustle of the city, in the Bengali residential quarter of Delhi, CR Park, there is a distinct buzz in the air, as the most eagerly awaited & widely celebrated event of the Bengali community, the 5-day extravaganza of Durga Puja is just a few weeks away.
