Event Description : The American Center and the Center for the Advanced Study of India, University of Pennsylvania invite you to an interactive discussion on“The Indian-American community – a story of uncommon achievement”
Few diaspora communities have enjoyed the success demonstrated by Indian-Americans. People of Indian Origin have risen to the highest levels in myriad fields in America, from the arts to science to business. In this interactive session, Devesh Kapur, of the University of Pennsylvania and co-author of the acclaimed book The Other One Percent – Indians in America, will join former Ambassador to Washington Arun Kumar Singh and U.S. Cultural Attaché Craig Dicker in examining the forces that have enabled this remarkable level of achievement.
