Have you ever wished to be a part of "living history", walk on ramparts/walls of a 11th century fort, Delhi's oldest extant fort....or skip down the steps into the depths of a 15th century stepwell....or visit a honeymooner's resort built by a Britisher in the 19th century....then come join DelhiByFoot for a journey through time....from the ancient to the modern. Areas which are actually the "oldest continuously lived part of Delhi"...the village & jungles of Sanjay Van around Mehrauli are a paradise for History & Mystery lovers, Nature enthusiasts & Photographers....

Mehrauli, Delhi's very own Hill Station is beautiful in the rains...Located in the south-western part of Delhi on the highest point of Delhi's a...ncient Aravalli Hills, Mehrauli has always been a very popular destination, endearing itself for over 1200 years to one and all...from the early native Rajputs of the 8th Century to the English Sahibs of the 19th Century.....and even the Sufis, Spirits & Djinns of Delhi!

After all a place so old, makes it an even more unique place in Delhi, a maze of memories & mysteries, scattered among hundreds of small or big, ruins from early medieval times to the 19th century....Baolis (Stepwells), multi-usage Tombs, earliest specimen of a Mughal mosque & some funny British buildings.....You name it & Mehrauli has it!!!
