Rolling Grass – Thursday, 24th August’17
The idea of Rolling Grass is simple - The 70s and 80s produced music that has left an indelible mark on a lot of us. It has almost given us a new purpose in life. Rolling Grass is a humble attempt to keep that flame burning. The audacity of the guitar riffs, the face melting guitar solos, the outrageous exhibition of vocal ranges, the booming snares, the keyboard tones, the belting bass, almost every time, leave us awestruck but with a sense of purpose – How do we keep this style of music alive?
Avik started playing keyboards early part of this millennium in Calcutta. He has been part of modern alt to white collar to classic rock outfits over the years.
Diyatom started singing at an early stage. It started with Indian classical music but gradually he developed a taste for western music. Additionally, he holds two diplomas in western classical from Global Music Institute (GMI) and Delhi School of Music.
Jeffin was drawn into the world of music in late 90's and ever since there has been an inseparable bond with guitars. His passion for music, especially bass guitar, has taken him from performing in various bands over the years.
Rahul has been playing guitar 'off and on' for various rock and metal bands in Delhi since the last two decades. His passion for music and guitar keep getting him back to jam along with old friends trying to make good music.
Shiva started playing drums at the age of 18. He has always been passionate about music and try to put innovative ideas. He is heavily influenced by Vinnie Colaiuta, Mike Portnoy, Dennis chambers and Gary Novak.
Sony Jacob started playing guitar in 2000 under the tutelage of Manjit Joseph (Ashtoreth, Heavens Down Fame). He has played with various rock bands over the years. Heavily influenced by guitar legends like Jimi Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore, Gary Moore, Randy Rhoads etc.

Quintiz featuring Zian Bhamgara – Friday, 25th August’17
Quintiz a Jazz/Jazz-Fusion quintet from Maastricht, Netherlands. Formed in September 2016, they started off as a trio playing jazz standards at quite a few gigs across Maastricht. "Each performance promises to be honest, full of energy and will make you smile during and after." However, the driving force behind the band is their passion for writing original music, which is the key to success in today's music world.
