Event Description : THEATRE : Khilona presents "The Clown's Cry For The Moon!" Hindustani Play. 

About the play
A little girl uses her imagination as a tool to play. One fine night, when out for a walk after dinner she hears in her 'imagination' the cries of a hungry Clown who is about to gobble up her best friend, the Moon, thinking it to be a buttered chapaati. She persuades him to spare the Moon and promises to get food for him. She gets some food for the Clown from her grandmother and sets out to feed him. On her way, again in her imagination, meets a few characters, who are hungry. Kind that she is, offers a little bit of this food to everybody but a fox finishes the food. As she looks at the empty tiffin, she begins to cry and takes her exit.
The Clown, who has been waiting, comes on stage and inquires the audience, as to what happened to the girl. The audience tells him how the food she brought for him, got finished. The Clown expresses his desire to have a look, and requests the audience to show him how it all happened. And the audience takes over the stage and performs all the five scenes. Finally, both the Clown, and the audience conclude the play.
