Event Description : EXHIBITION "Nurturing Hands" Solo Sculpture Show by Seema Singh Dua.

Deeply influenced by nature and the power of nurturing, my sculptures arise from a vision where nature agrees to blend and find a new shape. A humble attempt through my work, to calm a restless soul for a simple reason, that if your heart is a volcano how can you expect flowers to bloom. Nature has its own pace and her secret is her patience. As quoted by Rabindranath Tagore "Be still my heart, these great trees are my prayers".
I invite you to engage in an active dialogue with my sculptures representing nature in its full majesty... trees, birds and butterflies to bring us in a state of mindfulness where we become more compassionate towards our surroundings.

About the Artist: An intimate line of figurative sculptures that speak in a quiet way, to endear, to love, to protect and to inspire. For me my work is not just a medium of expressing my thoughts , but it is a way of engaging the viewer in an active dialogue. The sculptures are not a medium to transfer a message but are an experience in themselves. Each of my work in the current show encourages the viewer to connect with nature, appreciate it's majestic beauty and what it offers. 
Having participated in several Solo and Group shows, my work has found a place in many corporate offices, a university, a museum and several private collections both within India and Internationally.
