Event Description : FILM FEST : Pickurflick Indie Film Festival-PIFF 2017

Synopsis: Pickurflick Indie Film Festival-PIFF 2017 is India’s first multi-city offline+online indie film festival for independent film makers from around the globe. Their vision is to promote good independent cinema and support the indie film fraternity. This year’s inaugural edition of the festival received more than 550 films from 50 countries, out of which around 100 films are being screened across Bangalore & Delhi. The festival has four categories- shorts, feature, animation & documentary. The Bangalore edition of the festival was held from 31st March-2nd April 2017 where 50 films were screened with 20 premieres. More than thousand people attended the screenings and it was very widely appreciated & acknowledged. The Delhi edition of the festival will be held from 19th-21st May at Instituto Cervantes, New Delhi. Around 33 films (across 4 categories) from Spain/Latin America will be screened at the Delhi edition of the festival, out of which 12 will be Asia/India Premieres.The winners of the festival will be announced on the closing day of the festival.
Pickurflick aims to be the Global distribution platform for indie film makers. It helps to connect indie film makers with their relevant audience worldwide thereby helping them to monetize their content while providing differentiated content to film lovers.
