Event Description : Akshara Theatre presents Akshara Acting Students in "Alice & Krishna in Wonderland" English Play. 

“Twas brillig and the slithy toves did gyre and gimble in the wabe…”

This quirky romp through Lewis Carroll’s classics, Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through The Looking Glass features young Alice’s encounters with Tweedledum and Tweedledee, Humpty Dumpty, the Walrus and the Carpenter, with Oysters and Little Fishes on the side.

But what happens when Alice drops in to the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, on the banks of the very smelly Yamuna river? She meets the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, the Dormouse, the Mock Turtle and the Jabberwock.  Soon the party is busted by Kaalia Nag, the very grumpy Serpent King, who is infuriated by the way the Yamuna is being dirtied and polluted by humans. Even the Snake Queen can’t stop the fight brewing between the Snake and the Wonderland creatures, when suddenly the melodious sound of the flute is heard, and Krishna joins the Tea Party…
