Event Description : EXHIBITION "Numaaish : A Photographic Journey" Annual Group Photography Show. 

In the February of 2015, Pixels became the first college based photography society to collectively exhibit its work at the India Habitat Centre. It was a pathbreaking event in the life of the society which had been formed only in 2013. It also meant that we'd set a standard that we would have to keep up in the coming years.

Numaaish is an Urdu word for exhibition and through the medium of this exhibition, we hope to show you the colloquium of colours, ideas and interpretations that our young minds can capture through their eyes and translate them through their cameras.

The exhibition will feature the best works of their members, from the Highlands of Spiti and Kashmir, to the streets of Delhi and Mumbai, and to the deep forests of Assam and Meghalaya.

About Pixels, the photography society of Hansraj college, University of Delhi :

People who are crazy enough to change the world are the ones who do.
Since its inception in January 2013.Pixels has come a long way to become one of the best photography societies in Delhi University. It started with a group of not more than 10 enthusiasts having the aim to learn and explore new avenues of photography. Most of the team members were mobile photographers.  Starting from conducting mere photowalks the society grew to conducting regular workshops and intra and inter college competitions which are a part of PLICKTURE, held along with Hansraj Annual fest. The society also organises annual out station trips among its members to broaden the knowledge and scope of photography.
