Event Description : EXHIBITION "World Press Photo 16" 

An exhibition of prize winning photographs from the World Press Photo Contest 2016. An annual contest on photojournalism and documentary photography conducted by the World Press Photo Foundation, the contest awards photographers for the best images contributing to the past year of visual journalism. The jury of the 2016 competition gave prizes in eight categories to 42 photographers from 21 countries: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Turkey, and the USA

The prize-winning photographs have been printed on Canon large – format printers and Arizona Flatbed printers by Océ
