Event Description : SHOP & FOOD "Basant 2017" by Dastkar.

It brings a mix of established craft groups & NGOs, as well as small artisans Coming to Delhi. Everything from lacquer toys & terracotta to organic clothing & meenakari jewellery. From items as humble as copper cattle bells, Sarkanda & Sabai grass products, to high value Banarasi Saris & Tibetan thangka, phad, gond & tanjore painting. Crochet traditions that came to us from the West vie with our own chikan embroidery, kutchi mirrorwork, kantha, & kalamkari. Dhokra, pattachitra, fibre Weaving, marble inlay Work, paper mache, khadi & khurja pottery, all find a place!
Afghan Corner - Featuring textiles, clothes, jewellery, leather products and dry fruits by some of Afghanistan's master craftspeople!
Workshops on crafts, folk performances, music, dances and a delicious spread of Indian and International cuisine!
