Event Description : EXHIBITION “Timeless” Solo Show of ceramic sculptures by Usha Garodia. 

Artist's Comment : The theme of this show is “Timeless”—
“Samay mujh mein nahi,
Mein samay mein beet rahi hun”
I am presenting many series of works. Heads in installations, Abstract Imaginations, Waves, Wall Plates with Gods and Goddesses inspired by Mr. M F Husain, Birds in flight, Leaves in full splendor, Vases in multiple forms and colours, Tea Pots for which I was given several awards in China and Taiwan, Sculptural Forms and unusual & unique Table Art.

About the Artist : I was born in Hyderabad. My father, late Sh. Badrivishal Pitti, was a well-known art collector, so I grew up with many kinds of art forms around me. Sh. M F Husain was a family friend and he used to spend a lot of time in our house. I used to watch him paint and he left a very deep influence on me. I have been fascinated with art since then.
I used to paint since childhood. After marriage I moved to New Delhi. A few years later, in 1983, I started working with clay. The feel of clay was enough to get me addicted to it. It has moulded me and my life. 
Ceramics is a very thrilling art form, where the artist is never in full control. The fire totally transforms my offering into a beautiful gift, leaving me humbled.
