India's problems can seem overwhelming, but solutions exist. In his book, 'Restart: The Last Chance for the Indian Economy', the economist and journalist Mihir S Sharma analyses what can and must change in India's policies, its administration – and even its attitudes. The answers he provides are not all obvious. Nor are they all comforting or conventional. But they are essential to unleash India’s creativity. To discuss the insights from his book, and to examine how much of this essential reform seems underway today, Mr. Sharma will engage in a conversation with Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) in a special session hosted by the Ananta Aspen Centre.
The discussion will be Chaired by Mr. T N Ninan, Chairman, Business Standard Limited and Chairman, Ananta Aspen Centre.
