Event Description : "IL Padre Di Famiglia (The Head Of The Family) " Comedy film screening.
Marco and Paola are two young architects who share the rigor and intransigence of town planning. They meet in Rome in the early post-war years, get married and, one after another, are born four sons. Paola is forced to leave the job and give up on her career. Over the years, Marco, feeling a little 'abandoned’ and ‘left to himself’ because of his wife’s indifference, seeks fulfilment and understanding in Adriana, a sensitive and modern girl. Despite the betrayal, however, Marco continues to be in love with his wife, as also confirmed by the bitterness of his mistress. Paola, meanwhile, stressed by the children and the family routine, becomes the victim of a nervous breakdown and is admitted to a nursing home. In the big and deserted house, Marco realizes for the first time the indispensability of Paola.
