Event Description : 'DOUBLE BILL: Performance + Image'
Two dancers and a visual artist come together to create an evening of two performances:
- Animal Connection
- Reconstruction Site
ANIMAL CONNECTION :
A contemporary dance performance that investigates the relationship between the human and the animal, and contemplates over the blurring lines through bodies of two dancers in a domestic setting.
Choreography – Rahul Goswami
Dancers – Aseng Borang & Rahul Goswami
Curator – Tsohil Bhatia
Sound Design – Ella Barak & Tsohil Bhatia
RECONSTRUCTION SITE : Performance Installation
Lost in the definition of home, the piece delves into un-defining yet redefining the space of inhabitance. The piece searches for home that does not exist as a physical space but is an idea present in objects, people and conversations; for a solitary body constantly looks for the tangible other, to construct ‘home’. The piece is a dialogue between a dancer and a performance artist and tip-toes on the line between the two mediums.
Performers – Rahul Goswami & Tsohil Bhatia
Installation & Sound Design – Tsohil Bhatia
