Event Description : IRCEN celebrates Holi by presenting Thumri, Dadra, Ghazals, Hori Songs, Kajari, Bhajan and Sindhi Kallaams by A-Graded Artist, Neeta Soorma. 

Neeta Soorma is a vocalist in Indian Semi-Classical Music.  She learnt the ‘Poorab-ang’ style of Hindustani Music, i.e. the Benaras Style of Thumri and Dadra rendition in Guru Shishya Parampara under the guidance of her illustrious Guru, the versatile Smt. Savita Devi of Benaras Gharana.  An ‘A” grade artist in Thumri, Dadra and Ghazal, Neeta regularly performs at the All India Radio and Television.  She also sings Chaiti, Hori, Kajri, Bhajan and Sindhi Kalaams.  

She performs in the AIR Sangeet Sammelan and has earned appreciation for herself.  Apart from her singing career she is working for the welfare of women and children in India.
