Entry : Fee: Rs 5,000 (Tea and coffee included - No lunch, no free love, no guarantees on spontaneous hugs) for the workshop on 7th and 8th June 2014
Additional 2,500 for optional beginners session on Friday, 6th June, 2014
Equipment you will need:
DSLR with a wide angle lens. Avoid telephotos.
Point and shoot camera will do too.
No mobile phones or tablets please
Carry a compact Camera Bag
Two fully charged batteries
Enough Storage (mini-SD, SD card etc)
Please carry your own water bottles. Most essential. Dress in comfortable clothes. Avoid anything that will make you stand out. The idea is to blend in.

If the quirkiness on streets gets your neurons buzzing and you are gripped by the irresistible urge to snap random photographs to share the awesomeness with the world, join us at the Click Street, the street photography workshop. 
Get over the fear of pointing your camera at complete strangers or going belly up in the middle of the road. We’ll teach you how to get the moment you want, exactly how you want it (and then how to make it better). First the technicals, then the artistry, followed by hours of shooting and reviewing images. 
** Incisive feedback and tips on getting better are guaranteed.

Day 0 : 6th June, 2014 (optional) : 
**For absolute beginners unfamiliar with camera and photography basics, we can conduct an optional session on Day 0. This session is available on request.

Day 1 : 7th June :
Session 1: Appreciating the Art of Shooting Street
There’s no better way to key into the spirit of photography than deconstructing the masters - Cartier-Bresson, Winogrand, Raghu Rai, Meyerowitz, Saul Leiter. We’ll get to work on them in the first session and explore the rich and fascinating world of international street photography. The more you grasp how the greats operated, the more ideas you get while shooting. And no, you do not lose your originality by emulating the masters... you find your own way to it. 
Session 2: Composition
Streets are organic, random and chaotic. So is street photography. Yet there is method to all the madness. Pick up composition basics in the second session and take your photography to the next level. 

Day 2 : 8th June : 
Session 1: Shoot
Walk around the lanes of Old Delhi and shoot with other passionate street photogs. Make sense of the chaos through the lens and frame the fleeting moments forever in your camera. We start early in the day when the light is kind and the streets delightful.
Session 2: Review
Sift through the 100s of frames you come back with. We’ll select the keeps and learn from the misses.
