Event Description : Shut The Mic Up: Kolkata Comedy Invasion with Vaibhav Sethia and Anirban Dasgupta, curated by Maheep Singh

Vaibhav Sethia : Vaibhav got outcasted by the Marwari society after he decided to quit his high paying job, to do comedy. He admits he misses it. The food, not the people as much! Most of his jokes are renderings of what he calls "bookmark moments" from his life. That includes 5 years of architecture in an IIT, the only girl he managed to talk to, and the 7 jobs he quit in the last two years.

Anirban Dasgupta : Anirban is an engineer turned salesman turned ... married man at the age of 24. Going by the smart decision making he has shown so far in life, quitting his job eventually for comedy was the next logical move. He likes to talk about politics (as there is nothing else to do in Kolkata anyway), his inter community, inter caste (and inter gender) marriage, corporate life, current affairs and religion.
