Four accomplished artists from different walks of their artistic lives will present a group show entitled ‘Traces’. The exhibition will showcase mixed media paintings, canvases of different colour palettes, creative ceramics and sculptures. This group show TRACES is pegged at the most interesting art exhibition in town this Spring season. It will be a colour fest that will not only pamper your senses but also satiate your soul.

Triveni Prasad Tiwari who has a Masters degree in Fine Arts (Pottery & Ceramic Design) from the prestigious Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has won many laurels and accolades. Tiwari says that his ceramic draws inspiration from the stark realities of life. Be it everyday relationships, lack of humanity or interference between man and nature, hints of his hidden anxiety can be visualized in his ceramics.

This platform covers a wide rage of disciplines and genres from the world of art. Sidharth Pansari, is another seasoned artist who will display his incredible body of work called ‘’construction’’ at the show. Sidharth offers the most complex, polemic and double-edged forms of visual experience. Also an alumnus of BHU, his “non-objective” paintings capture physical and emotional effects. Through his works, he “proliferates though a distilled reconciliation of allegorical opposites of form and colour, of geometry and space, of distance and dimension.”

On the other hand, we have Abhijit Kumar Pathak, who has a MFA (painting) degree from Jamia Milia Islamia University. His evocative canvasses speak volumes about his creative personality. “I practise the job in a global trend but spontaneously the sensibility of my domain comes in my work unavoidably worldly visual elements, incidents, issues and imageries. My practice with contemporary mode of execution, besides the thematic manner of presenting my urge, always emphasise the space alignment as a significant part of its technical aspect” elaborates Abhijit.

If clay modelling is Triveni’s forte, Sidharth and Abhijit are gifted with masterstrokes. Giving these illustrious artists company would be the very talented Indira Ghosh, who is a professional sculptor adept at plastic arts. An alumna of BHU, Indira has won several awards for heravant garde art form. Winner of prestigious scholarships, Indira’s creations are innovative visual treats.she says ‘’My creations are the embodiment of myself and the world around me. I regard my creations as installation oriented, simple, geometrical and bold.’’
