Event Description : Apne Aap Women Worldwide, India invites you to join Eve Ensler, Activist, feminist, founder of V-Day (a global movement to end violence against women) in conversation with Apne Aap survivor-leaders.

Mumtaz (Topsia slums), Kalam (Forbesgunge red-light areas) and Fatima Khatoon (married into a brothel and the man she got married to is a trafficker) in their struggles to access justice against a corrupt law-
enforcement and indifferent judiciary 

Moderating the discussion will be Ruchira Gupta, Founder President (Apne Aap Women Worldwide, India)

Ms.  Eve Ensler is an American playwright, performer, feminist, activist and best known for her play 'The Vagina Monologues'. Ensler addresses issues of violence against women and girls. In 1998, her experience performing The Vagina Monologues inspired her to create V-Day, a global activist movement to stop violence against women and girls. V-Day raises funds and awareness.
