The capital witnessed Dancer/Choreographer (Padmashri) Geeta Chandran’s presented a solo Dance-Theatre performance “GANDHI : Warp and Weft”, at IHC last evening (25 September).
On the occasion, Padmashri Geeta Chandran said, “Gandhi continues to challenge our sense of values. He set a very high benchmark. In today’s world of violence and vapid materialism, I felt that the message of Gandhi needs to be reinvigorated once again.”
Present on the occasion were the Mahatma’s grand-daughter Tara Gandhi Bhattacharjee, Suresh Goel, former chief of the ICCR, Chhavi Rajawat and the dynamic sarpanch of Soda Village in Rajasthan,
