25th July 2013: Internationally acclaimed designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock bring to you a collection reminiscent of the most natural and beautiful creations of time, the Garden of Eden.
The designers take you through their fashion paradise with bridal and evening gowns full ghagras, anarkalis, farshi pyjamas, kalidaar saris teamed with bustier, halters and shrugs.
For the Garden of Eden Collection, the designer duo recently travelled to Europe to gather their inspiration for their work. Monaco, Nice and the gardens of Lake Como all played their part in inspiring them to replicate the world’s most beautiful gardens and the natural beauty they embody. Using myriad hues such as pistachio, pink, ivory, gold and combining them with intricate silhouettes the collection is intended to celebrate nature. Floral motifs, vintage laces and delicate feathers amalgamated with net, chiffon and georgettes play the perfect back story for the collection.
The designers have worked on each piece individually to replicate the beauty and movement of nature in a contemporary form. The 2013 Peacock bride collection is here to dress a fairytale bride.
Peacock label is born from a duo of two young dynamic people from different creative horizons who managed to merge their universe and their influences to propose a unique style. Since 2004, this designer duo has created ripples in the international markets right from showcasing in the various international fashion weeks to dressing international celebrities like Madonna, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Fergie, Nicole Scherzinger, Cheryl Cole, Naomi Harris, Hofit Golan, Niki Minaj, Jaime King, The Sugarbabes Jade Ewen, Amelle Berrabah and Heidi Range, Chelsea Kane, Ayla Kell, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Shakira and Beyonce among others.
