Event Details : The Journey by Anjali Sapra .
The Journey is an exhibition of works depicting Anjali's journey of self-realization through explorations into consciousness and its myriad aspects. The experience of the human spirit, its feel of freedom, and its perception of the   splendor of existence and immortality are all transferred onto her canvas  with her unique touch of gentleness and her natural endowment of equanimity.
Anjali Sapra works in layers, texturing the canvas as she imbues it with color. There is extensive use of gold and silver foil as well as natural pigments which are freshly made each time they are used. Her works are in a variety of media: vegetable dyes, gouache on handmade paper, egg tempera, oil on canvas, ink on paper.
Anjali is one of the artists who participated in the Art Camp to celebrate the Golden Anniversary of Alliance Française de Delhi at their invitation and generously donated a work of hers to  the Alliance collection.
