Event Details : 'brand(e)scape - the changing sur(face) of the city' a solo exhibition of photographs by Sreedeep.
The exhibition documents the sheer proliferation and the subtle irony of the "magnificence" of brand presence in a developing nation. It is an attempt to  capture urban life in front of gigantic images/messages and revert them into a gallery context. Life lived in front of logos,  at times contradicts, and at times may enhance the sprit of the advertised products and its message, all of which in some way or the other, reshape our/their urban experience/engagement with the city, and through that remold the visual topography of the urban landscape.
