This 85 years old company was founded by Late Pt. Rikhi Ram who himself was a great musician and a well known Instrument maker. His Late son Pt. Bishan Dass carried forward his legacy and learned music from his father and became disciple of world renowed sitar maestro Pt. Ravi Shankar. He got associated with many great musicians and the journey is further continued by his son Ajay Sharma who learned music from Pt. Satish Kumar, the chief producer in All India Radio and later played for A.IR. too. He has taught music all over the world and his art of making instruments is appreciated by many maestros.
