Event Details : Carnatic Classical Vocal Recital by Snigdha Venkataramani from Delhi, disciple of N.N. Sashikiran and Chitravina P. Ganesh.
Snigdha Venkataramani is an accomplished Carnatic vocalist. She began her training when she was just three years old. Her zest to learn further brought her under the tutelage of several senior and veteran vocalists and Gurus like Sh. Nookala Chinna Satyanarayana, Smt K. Sudha, and Guru (late) Smt Radhakrishna of New Delhi. She is presently training in Carnatic music from Sh. K.N.Shashikiran and Chitravina P.Ganesh, popularly known as the CARNATICA BROTHERS. She has also learnt theory in dance and music from eminent musicologist, (late) Sh. T.S.Parthasarathy. She has performed in various prestigious venues in Delhi and also in many places in India.
Apart from being a vocalist, Snigdha is also an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer and is the disciple of world renowned, Padmashree awardee Guru Saroja Vaidyanathan. She has performed widely in India and abroad and has accompanied her Guru and contemporaries as a vocalist as well.
