Tips for the Monthly Calendar located at the top of the Left Sidebar
Today's Date = The date with bold black text and white background is Today's Date.
Events which are completely published = The dates with normal black text and white background (
) means that events under these dates appear in all the relevant sections like Dance, Theatre, Music etc.Events which appears in Calendar Only = The dates with normal black text and Grey background (
) lists means that it won't appear if you visit the respective section like Dance, Theatre etc. as they are not completely published and visible only when you click on the dates in the calendar.Dates without any Event = The dates without any events are completely black (
).Note :
Do check the 'Continuing Today' ( under 'Events' menu at the top ) and 'Long Duration Events' ( includes todays and upcoming events both ) below the calendar for exhibitions / Food Festivals / Film Festivals / Theatre Festivals which are lasting for more than 5 days as they will appear on first and last days only.

old entries, like from previous years shud be taken off....else,search results become highly confusing
That's not possible for now and you don't need to search for new entries as you can go to desired sections / click on dates for that.
