‘The Melody of love’ ( 1730 ) has been selected from host of successful scripts. Its stands out for its historicity of entertaining the audiences over different generations, world over now is being brought to the Indian stage in its original Broadway style, for the first time ever! Yet a newer and even more hilarious than the 2 years back successful exclusive premier, it has not still been localized or given the Indian flavour ….all is has is the spices making it a bubbling ,rib-tickling comedy refusing to let the audiences stop getting into constant splits of laughter’s’.
‘Melody of love’ originally a French play of its time. Out of the numerous works by the famous French playwright Marivaux.(1688-1763) this play rests on the prime position of being the most outstanding, bestsellers and also a favorite for the varied audiences, who’ve been privileged to taste its theatrics in their country and language. Giving it the realm of world theatre and extending the pleasure to Asia the play is translated into English stretching for the duration of about one and a half hours (120 minutes), and is being brought to Asia for the very first time by Divya Arora !
‘The Melody of love’ is one of the world’s favorite Broadway hit comedy. Falling under the genre of romantic comedy, the play is about two young couples that wish to carefully examine their future life partners. To test their partner’s heart, the couples operate under a masquerade, portraying what they are not. With time, love becomes strong and deep for each couple. Slowly the masks fall as the dupes themselves get duped.
